Welcome to AI for Education Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and online courses (collectively, the "Services") offered through our course platform at https://aiforeducation.thinkific.com/.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About AI for Education Inc.
AI for Education Inc. is a New Jersey corporation providing self-paced online AI literacy courses ("Courses") for K-12 educators, school districts, higher education institutions, and students through this course platform.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
● You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase Courses on your own behalf. Students under 18 may access Courses only through an enrolling institution (school, district, or organization) that has agreed to these Terms on the student's behalf.
● You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
● You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date.
3. Course Access
● Individual (one-time fee) courses: Purchasing an individual educator course on our Thinkific site is a one-time fee that grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that course indefinitely, for personal, non-commercial educational use. This is not a subscription and is not subject to renewal fees. Indefinite access is contingent on your continued compliance with these Terms and is subject to the course remaining offered on our platform — if we discontinue a course or platform, we will provide reasonable notice and, where practicable, a way to access or download your completed materials.
● You may not share, resell, reproduce, or redistribute course content, materials, or access credentials except as expressly permitted by your license.
● AI for Education Inc. reserves the right to revoke access for violation of these Terms.
4. Payment Terms
● Fees for Courses are as stated at the time of purchase.
● Institutional invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
● All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
5. Refund Policy
● Individual courses (one-time fee): Requests for a refund must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are not available after this window or after a completion certificate has been issued.
● Tax-exempt purchasers: If your organization is tax-exempt and was charged sales tax on your purchase, email a copy of your valid tax-exemption certificate to [email protected]. Upon verification, we will refund the sales tax charged.
● Technical issues: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing purchased content, contact [email protected] and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund if it cannot be resolved.
● Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
● AI for Education Inc. reserves the right to deny refund requests that we determine, in good faith, to be abusive or made in bad faith.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, trademarks, the SEE Framework, and other intellectual property made available through the Services are owned by or licensed to AI for Education Inc. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited access granted to purchased Courses, no rights are transferred to you.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
● Use the Services for any unlawful purpose;
● Share account credentials or course access with unauthorized individuals;
● Copy, record, reproduce, or distribute course content without authorization;
● Upload harmful code or attempt to interfere with the Services' operation;
● Harass, abuse, or harm other users or AI for Education Inc. staff/facilitators.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI for Education Inc. does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI for Education Inc.'s total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable Course in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
AI for Education Inc. may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; any applicable refund is governed by Section 5 above.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last Updated" date above.
